Being bored at home alone with nothing to do is not a great situation but luckily you have a close friend or two you can always call do to something with and hopefully they will have a great idea that can help with what to do when bored. If they don’t have an idea for you then you have to come up with something, well here are a few ideas that might help out when you get that friend to do something with

A great way on how to deal with boredom while you have some friends around is to create a theme day. Think of a specific theme you want to do an entire day on like say you want to do it on Star Wars, then you could watch the movies, play a game that has to do with it, dress like the characters, make some food that they could have in space and just have a wacky and fun time with it. You could find some music to play throughout the day, just make sure that the day is organized right so there’s always something to do during the day that pertains to the event. It doesn’t have to be Star Wars but anything that comes to mind will be great.
You can always create an even that revolves around food like a fondue party. A fondue party is a great way to deal with boredom where you can have a lot of friends gathered around and they all nibble on munchies dipped in melted chocolate and a have a few drinks while you’re at it. Nobody can resist chocolate so this is the perfect time to get people to come over even in an impromptu way. There’s also Reclette as well where it’s done like fondue but with cheese and meats
There are always things to do with boredom that you can come up with when you have a lot of friends around. Always try to have some back-up ideas in case you are a little desperate for things that are not just things you would all do usually but some inventive ideas like see a sporting event, go snowshoeing or even play laser tag. You could also come up with something like going to the theatre, the local symphony or catch a local band playing at a pub. There’s always a local mall where you could even do some people watching while having an ice cream cone.
